dirigo rod holder

I have an old town dirigo 106 kayak (NOT angler edition) and I was wondering what rod holder would be the best for it. I know the angler edition comes with a scotty, but i want to know if there is a better rod holder for the money. I'm kicking myself for not getting the angler, but better late than never, right?
