Fishing Report Sat, Sun, and Mon

Fished Saturday out of Trails End looking for some trout and drum. Managed to catch 2 barely legal trout so I released them. Both caught on Gulp Shrimp Penny color during incoming tide. Missed a few others and was having some issues with one of my reels so the day could have went better. Sunday got a late start and decided to fish Sutton. There were lots of fish busting the surface but only managed to hook one on a 3inch swim shad. It was around 2lbs. Another late start his morning so I decided with the overcast skys and wind that I would try swimbaits at Sutton. Had one miss a 9inch custom plug 2 feet from the boat, and then caught one on a 7inch swimbait. It was only about 1lb- 1 1/2lb. Would have loved to stay but got chased off the water by the wind.
