So, I just got to East Carolina's dorms and stuff today. Of course, I know of the river near the campus. I could imagine a vast difference of species in that river because it's getting near the saltwater. Anyways, I was down in the nearby Wal-Mart, and of course it had a fishing section. I went down there to find everything from bass to surf fishing rods there. It's definitely more a selection than that of the one by my house in Cary. And in the isles, there was a ridiculously large amount of space committed to catfishing.

I guess my question here is, is there some other location other than the river that is nearby and is pretty good for catfish? Perhaps a lake or pond? I wouldn't think that the stink would work on the river, but then again, I could be wrong.
