Wake Forest Reservior

My wife and I finally went to see the Wake Forest Reservoir, which is only a mile and a half from the house, we just didn't know it was there.

Seems like a very good lake for catfishing, anyone ever tried it there? It is boat-accessible, water seems to be only moderately deep, the deepest being 22ft according to a boater.
