Nylon VS Mono Backing

What are the pros or cons on using mono vs nylon backing
on the flyreel....????????

Fixing to get a new flyline and was wonder which to use...I have couple hundred yards 30# test Red Cajin mono but no nylon....

I plan on getting a WF, 8wt, F line but haven;t made the ulitmate choice yet....line will be used in fresh and salt water. Most of my fishing will be shallow 1-3 foot with topwaters, clousers and deceivers, so the floating line should be ok with a 6 foot leader.

It will be going on a Cabela's Three Forks Outfitters 9', 8wt, 2 pc rod......and a Okuma SVL 7/8 reel.

I'm getting ready in a month or so get a new set up with a TFO rod, have to work my way up to the good stuff. The Okuma reel seems to be doing well so I will go from there.
