continuation from first post: IT COST TO MUCH: You don't need wadders or hipp boots ( wear sneakers,short or long pants) I have friends who fish for Smallmouth bass and they perfer to wade in sneakers and short pants). Vest can come later,long nose pliers can be used to remove hooks,nail clipper to clip leader. Keep it simple,you don't have to purchase items from a fly shop or catalog. Places like Wal-Mart,Big Lots,and Michaels Art & craft can fill some of your needs. The fly tier can buy feathers at Michaels. Use your immagination. PS: My eyes and fingers aren't what they use to be and have trouble tying on extra tippit to a short leader when I am on the stream. In order to save time I carry six or seven back-up leaders with me and replace the short leader with a new leader and tye on the added tippet at home. REK
