Davidson HELP and other HELP

I will be coming down there on a house hunting trip. I am going to hit the Davidson. I am looking for any tips or insiders info. Anything will help. What other good streams or rivers could I hit for trout. Also, I would like to get some smallies too. I will be staying close to Charlotte. Ronnie
