Default The fish win again

Just got back from my mountains to the sea trip and got skunked (well almost). The trip to Fort Fisher was a wash out and didn't even get so much as a nibble. Then headed to Maggie Valley Friday and fished Jonathan Creek on Friday afternoon and had a couple of hits but didn't bring anything to the bank. Saturday I made it up to Chataloochee Creek and caught three small rainbows and had to really work for them. Tried Bradley Creek today for a couple of hours before I had to leave to head back home and threw everything I had at them but the trout just weren't cooperating with me. The weather was nice but the water levels were lower than I can ever remember them being, as was to be expected with the drought we've had. Hopefully the spring hatch will bring me better luck since May or June will be next time I can make it to the mountains.
