I still need some help

I will be moving soon just south of Charoltte right over the border in South Carolina. What species of fish would I be fishing for. I like fishing small streams and rivers. I am open for anything. The only trout experience I have is that I fished once for steelhead up north and did land fish. I fish hear in Cincinnati for moslty smallmouth and hybrid stripers. Any help would be great. Also anyone would be willing to help me out with the trout fishing that would be great, I would have no idea what I was doing. Ronnie
