Default Is the River To high to fish today?

"Is the River To high to Fish Today?"
I have often wondered that and thought man it would be nice to know before I drive 35 min. or so to the river. Well, Shane at Hunter Banks a good school buddy and allaround good guy showed me how this past saturday. Their is a web site for all United State Water Resources. http://water.usgs.gov/ Check it out. It has alot of streams and rivers and their is a good chance the one you fish is listed. I didnt know such a site exsited and just wanted to make sure that others didnt miss out on it because they didnt know of it either.
