Stream Etiquette

I will be up near Stone Mountain this weekend and may have a chance to try out a fly rod my brother gave me for the first time, outside of small ponds. Is there any "stream etiquette" i should be aware of, especially since i will not be casting with, how should we say - beauty and grace just yet. Thanks!
