Default Another slam..lots of trout

Fished the flats of Southern New Hanover County first thing Saturday morning. Between the cold night and the muddy water, the fishing was pretty slow. However, I did manage to get myself another inshore slam with on speck, one red and one flounder. The speck and flounder were small, but the red was in the lower end of the slot. This makes twice I didn't take any pictures, and managed a slam. Guess I might have to start leaving the camera at home.

Pulled the boat out of the water around 12:30 and headed back up to Wrightsville and put back in. Fished till dark near the north end of the beach and wore the specks out. Must have caught 30-40, but they were all in the 12-15 inch range. Lots of fun.

Looks like the fishing is going to continue to be good for some time.
