Any Drum around Emerald Isle

Heading to EI on Wednesday. Going to use a 14.5 ft flat bottom aluminum boat to get in shallows in ICW hoping for drum and flounder. Anyone had experience with this area?? Also, thinking of dropping in one day in Pamlico Sound. Any advice on where to put in at?? Thanks
