Default Back from the coast.

Here's the Surf City report. In the 2 weeks I was there, there were 5 Cobia caught off the pier. 55, 35, 28, 23, and 17 lbs. (Released) Also, 3 Kings, 39, 18, and 12 lbs. A couple of Kings lost around the pylons. Got a call today, that another Cobia, 58 lbs., was caught this morning. Plenty of small Blues, very few Spanish. Saw 1 lady walking up the pier, with what looked to be a Puppy Drum, but on closer inspection, it was a HUGE Mullet. By far the biggest 1 I've ever seen. I estimated between 2 1/2-3 lbs. I didn't get anything off the end, but, I did have my youngest son with me and he caught his 1st Blue on a Gotcha Plug!
All in all, had a good time all around. After all, "A bad day's fishing is better than the BEST day at work"
