Charleston at New Year

I guess i'll find out if I'm posting this right considering I'm very computer stupid, We are going to our friends place down below Charleston in the A.C.E. basin and neither my friend or I are familier with the fishing there. We do have a boat and hopefully all the necessary tools but need some advice. Are stripers running? Do we go for trout? HELP!!!!!!!
