Fish in the Atlantic Beach area

I hate to bug ya'll with this kind of question, but I'm going to anyway.

This August I'll be at Atlantic beach for a week. Rather then put some shrimp on a hook and hope something bites it I plan on being more selective this year.

So, what kind of fish are generally down there at that time of year? And how far out are they?
