Angry Need Info

I was at Belhaven this weekend to do a little trout fishing. I have been fishing there for about 2 months catching flounder and trout. I have been having some good luck until this past weekend. All of the other times, it has been a slight wind to moderate wind. This past weekend it was dead calm. (No wave action on top of water) I fished hard and only was able to keep one(1) trout. I caught one other but it was about 6 inches long. Can someone tell me if the calm wind had anything to do with the fish not bitting as good as the other times??
