Default A tip for when fishing is tough.

Sometimes bait is scarce and the fish just don't seem to be hungry. That is a good time to make a point to find the bait. A school that is on the move is best but don't overlook a school that seems stationary. When times are hard fish will move out of their comfort zones long enough to fill up. If you can find a moving school of bait it is usually only a matter of time before they cross paths with some hungry fish. Stay with the bait and you will soon get a feel for where the fish seem to be. Try to remember the locations where the fish are congregating so you can pattern the fish. Most of time you can limit out before you have a pattern worked out but it pays to stay with the school long enough to develope a pattern so you have something to work with. IF the school is stationary you can sometimes catch a mess near the bait, AL
