Red face White Oak River/ ICW...Anyone?

I just found the site and am very excited about what I am seeing. It looks like the kind of info I need and may even have a little to share. I currently live in Clayton, NC (near Raleigh). I hate being land-locked, but do manage to get back to Carteret County (home) on a regular basis. My in-laws just built a place on the White Oak and it has provided a great fishing spot. It's a few miles upriver from Swansboro and the ICW. We've been catching drum, flatfish, even blues and whiting, as well as all the usual suspects. Does anyone else fish this area? Would like to hook up with anyone that does and swap info, tips, hotspots, etc.

Tight lines to all!
