Captains Club discounts

It has become increasingly difficult to manage adding Captains Club discounts to products in the eStore as I have to manually connect the Captains Club record on NCangler.com to the eStore, add the discount to individual products, turn the discount on/off depending on membership status, etc. I have decided that it will be simpler to eliminate the 10% discount for certain products in the eStore and to send out periodic email discounts to Captains Club members instead. This will be simpler for me to manage and Captains Club members will still get the additional benefit of discounts on products.

The primary purpose of the Captains Club is to provide an increased membership level whereby members can help support the operation and development of NCangler.com. I think most, if not all, of our Captains Club members joined as a way of supporting the website and not because they were going to get something additional in return. I thank you for that.

I'll send out an email in a few days to current Captains Club members with a discount coupon for NCangler.com hats and t-shirts and we'll follow that up with periodic discounts on other products.
