NCangler.com breaks the 1,000 member mark!

A little over one year ago I set out to create an online resource of fishing information for North Carolina anglers from the mountains to the coast, saltwater and fresh, pier, surf, bank, fly, kayak, etc. I had never done much web design or programming so it has been a learning experience! But here we are 15 months later with over 1,000 members and some great NC anglers that are willing to share their time and expertise to make the fishing experience for others a better one. We have a wonderful group of folks on this site and it is growing daily. It is also a "family friendly" site and I will be diligent to make sure it stays that way. I'll also keep working to improve and build on what we have here. I welcome your input and ideas on what we can add and how we can promote it.

I also want to thank our Captains Club and Angler Sponsor Members for their support. You folks are very much appreciated and I hope you consider your $25 or $75 year membership fee a good return on your investment.

I hope many of our 1,000 members who have never posted a thread or replied to one will do so this year. Remember it is the shared collaboration of information by anglers across our state that makes NCangler.com your online guide to fishing in North Carolina. Thanks all!
