Talking NEW! The NCangler.com e-Store!

Well a good bit of time and resources went into creating a SSL (**Secure Sockets Layer) enabled secure eStore. You will know that the store is secure by the Lock icon in your browser. If you have wanted to become a Captains Club or Angler Sponsor Member but were not comfortable using PayPal, you can now use our eStore to purchase your membership via Check, Money Order or by MasterCard or Visa. I've also added a couple of fishing products and we'll soon be adding NCangler.com t-shirts, fishing shirts, hats, bumper stickers, etc.

In the eStore you can choose UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS) shipping with real-time online rate quotes for both. For Memberships you can download a welcome and instructions text file and no shipping expense is incurred of course. You can also manage your contact information in "My Account" and view your "Order History" online. Very cool!

If there are some unique fishing or boating products that you'd like to see in our store please let me know. My first priority was to make sure that any orders placed in the eStore would be safe and secure. That has been accomplished and in the coming months we'll be working on adding products and making the store look good. Remember anything that you purchase online helps support the operation and development of NCangler.com. If you have any suggestions or comments about the eStore please feel free to email me at sales@NCangler.com. Thanks!

** (pronounced as separate letters) Short for Secure Sockets Layer, a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encryptdata − a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL, and many Web sites use the protocol to obtain confidential user information, such as credit card numbers.By convention, URLs that require an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:.
