A Thanksgiving note from NCangler...

Just a note to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. I pray that you will travel safely and consider all that we have to be thankful for. It has been over five years since terrorists have been able to hit us on our home soil. Our economy is doing great. We are witnessing again what makes our democracy so great, the peaceful transfer of power from one political party to another. I know the process gets ugly sometimes and the system doesn't always work. But I've traveled around the world several times and I always can't wait to get home. We have a special country folks. May God preserve our union and give us compassion for the world that is not so fortunate.

Most of all I am thankful for my faith, my family and my church. Hey I'm thankful for fishing and the opportunity to build this online source for North Carolina Anglers! I'm sure you have your list of things to be thankful for too. So take a moment to give thanks to Him from whom all good things come and thank your family for putting up with you!

May God bless our young men and women who are on watch, serving us in harm's way. We salute you! Thank you for your service. Come home safe. God bless the USA, still the beacon for freedom and democracy in the world.
