Default Caravelle Hull Quality

Howdy,

I am a boater and fisherman out in Arizona. I am looking for a used 17-20 foot center console outboard. This style of boat is hard to come by in my area. I saw a used 2002 Caravelle with a 115 Yamaha 4 stroke for sale in my neck of the woods. I am not familiar with this brand. It is made in Georgia. I have owned boats my whole life and even worked in a boatyard/marina in my youth so I know what to look for when a survey a boat before purchase. Are there any Caravelle owners in NC that would care to commment on the overall quality of this particular boat in the long run. I am interested in any issues about inferior hull construction, use of poor fittings and handling in open water.

Thanks,
SWBoater
