| This looks like a nice, active forum, so here I am! I've lived in Mebane (Alamance Co.) for almost two years now, having escaped from the Northeast just in time! I've had really limited time to get on the water over the past two years, but I'm now going to change that. I've been to Lake Michael, Quaker (Graham-Mebane) and Mackintosh so far, so I have a long way to go as far as familiarizing myself with the local lakes. I like fishing for bass but I'm still trying to figure out the patterns here as the lakes are all quite different from what I grew up with (man-made, as opposed to natural). Up there, clear-water fishing is more often than not what you have. Does anyone on here know the best spots around Alamance to find bass, what are you throwing at them at this time of year, and if you have best spots (that you're willing to give up Aside from getting out and fishing, I also am active in woodworking, ham radio and a little music. Thanks in advance and I hope that this becomes another of my favorite forums! |
