Hello everyone I just found this site today and it seems very interesting and informative. I live in Lexington, NC and have been in law enforcement for almost 32 years. I am looking forward to my retirement in November of this year. I haven't fished as much as I could have for the past few years. Probably ten years ago I fished High Rock, Tuckertown, and Badin Lakes a lot. Way back then I caught my share of crappie and then some. I knew some real honey holes on High Rock back then and I expect they should still be there. Sold my boat, and just quit fishing. Then along come grandchildren and my granddaughter, who is 7, asks me "Pop when are you going to take me fishing? What does crappie taste like?" So like any good grandpa I am buying a smaller pontoon boat to take her and my grandson fishing, and of course for me after retirement. My other hobbies are deer hunting with my grandchildren and spending time at my cabin in Virginia and messing with a few chickens. (My granddaughter wanted those to). So if you see a Suntracker pontoon boat, with a grandpa and a grandma, a skinny granddaughter and grandson fighting over which one gets which rod and reel, that is probably us, pull up and say hi.
