New to NC Angler

Hi, I just registered with the NC Anglers. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains but also have a place in Ocean Isle. I have been deep sea fishing many times. Just started bass fishing this year. I haven't fished very much in the ICW. I don't want to put my bass boat in the saltwater but I do now have a boat to use there. Hopefully one big enough that I won't get run over. I have a small boat down there that I use after the tourist season. I am bringing some friends down next week and we plan on trying to fish amid all the other boats. What is the best bait for flounder? We are going to try that and then venture out into the ocean and see what we can catch.
