Newbe to the Forum

Hello All!!

Just wanted to take the time and say "howdy" to you all...I am in the stage of life where old age and treachery has to try and overcome youth and skill, especially in the SaltWater arena....I am retired USN and reside in my hometown High Point....I am mainly a pier fanatic and have fished most piers 'cept the ones near the sc state line,and next weekend that is where I am planning on returning to the Saltwater Arena after a ten year hiatus...I will be targeting whatever is available and in season (any fishing reports/tips?)....I have the equipment to cover every facet of pier fishing but have my heart set on a nice, fresh flounder or spot dinner!

As of this writing a N'easter is churning and I can just hear the yells outa the banks as the monsters move in with the weather!(sigh)

Don't have a boat but maybe one day....and I have been known to frequent the Oak Hollow lake in High Point with my Panfishin ultra light!
