Bay Scallop FMP Advisory Comm. 12/12/05

The Bay Scallop FMP Advisory Committee (AC) will be held on Monday, December 12, at 6 p.m. The AC will meet at the C-MAST Building in room #305 at Carteret Community College, located at 303 College Circle, Morehead City, NC.

The committee will review:

· An outline of a completed FMP
· The history of the commercial fishery and overview rules in other states.
· The overview the life history of bay scallops.
· The MFC’s management authority and rules that apply to bay scallops.
