MFC Central Regional Advisory Com. 11/6/06

The Marine Fisheries Commission Central Regional Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, November 6, at 6 p.m., at the Duke University Marine Lab Auditorium, 135 Duke Marine Lab Road, Pivers Island, Beaufort, NC.

The Draft Bay Scallop Fishery Management Plan will be presented to the committee at this meeting, including management recommendations from the Division of Marine Fisheries and the Bay Scallop Fishery Management Plan Advisory Committee. The committee will be asked to select preferred management recommendations at this meeting.

The committee will also be asked to make recommendations regarding a proposed beach seine definition and proposed submerged aquatic vegetation/strategic habitat definitions.
