MFC FinFish Advisory Comm. 8/7/07

The Marine Fisheries Commission Finfish Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 7, at 1 p.m., in Classroom 29, Building 10, Beaufort County Community College, 5337 Highway 264 East, Washington.

The committee will receive an update on the most recent Marine Fisheries Commission business meeting held in Raleigh and on MFC/DMF activities that affect finfish fisheries.

The committee will receive presentations on the draft Kingfish (Sea Mullet) and Central/Southern Estuarine Striped Bass Fishery Management Plans and be asked to make management recommendations regarding those two FMPs.

The committee will also receive presentations on the draft July 2007 Interjurisdictional Fishery Management Plan and on menhaden rules.
