MFC Habitat and Water Quality Comm. 6/13/05 2PM

The Marine Fisheries Commission (MFC) Habitat and Water Quality (H&WQ) Committee will meet on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Washington Regional Office, located at 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington, NC.

The H&WQ Subcommittee will discuss the Greenville Timberline, Carteret County permit elevation. The subcommittee will also receive updates on several projects.

The H&WQ Committee will discuss the Coastal Habitat Protection Plan (CHPP) implementation plans for the MFC and Division of Marine Fisheries. The MFC would like the advice of the H&WQ Committee regarding the draft implementation plan. The MFC priority for the CHPP is strategic habitat. The Committee will also be given an update on legislation that involves the CHPP and the MFC.
