MFC Public Information Comm. 8/17/05

The Marine Fisheries Commission (MFC) Public Information Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Craven County Community College, in the Brock Administration Building, room B202, located at 800 College Circle, New Bern, NC.

The Committee will overview the items prepared by the Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) for the last meeting, which listed items that could be done immediately to improve communication with DMF/MFC audiences.

The Committee hopes to get a status report on those items discussed at the last meeting and discuss timelines for completion of ongoing activities. They also plan to discuss means to address negative public perception of the MFC and DMF.
