The Marine Fisheries Commission River Herring (FMP) Advisory Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 22, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fish Hatchery, located at 1104 West Queen Street, Edenton, NC.

The committee will receive a presentation on the monitoring program and stock recovery indicators that are being proposed for the Draft River Herring FMP.

The committee will also discuss potential actions to restore abundance of river herring along with the cost estimates of monitoring and management for the Draft River Herring FMP.
