MFC Sea Turtle Bycatch Advisory Comm. 8/16/05

The MFC Sea Turtle Bycatch Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regional Office in Washington, NC, located at 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington, NC.
The Committee will hear a presentation from Dr. Brian Cheuvront, North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries statistician. Dr. Cheuvront will present material concerning sustainable fisheries in North Carolina.

The Committee will approve the minutes from the July 12, 2005 meeting and review the handouts. Thereafter, the committee will review and move to approve the fisheries characterization portion of the fact-finding document. If this is accomplished, the committee will move to approve the entire fact-finding document and proceed to the identification of problems and development of solutions.
