Notice is hereby given that the NC Marine Fisheries Commission Shrimp FMP Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday January 20, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the C-Mast Building, Room #305 located at Carteret Community College, 303 College Circle, Morehead City, NC. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION.

The Committee will begin review and discussion of what areas should be opened to trawling in estuarine waters. The first area to be examined will be New River. Management criteria to open estuarine areas to trawling and data from the shrimp fishery in that area will be presented, as will various management options.
