Public Notice

The MFC Sea Turtle Bycatch Advisory Committee (AC) will meet on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Washington Regional Office, located at 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington, NC.

The Committee will begin preparation of a fact finding document regarding interactions of sea turtles with North Carolina's commercial fisheries, which will be included in the final report from the Committee and presented to the North Carolina Marine Fisheries Commission. The report will be tentatively ready for distribution by September 2005.

The Committee will also review handouts and newsletters, and will outline events for the first six months of 2005.
