Went back out this morning with my good friend Randy looking for some more of those great winter Redfish. We definitely were not disappointed.
Once again, the bite was one as soon as we hit the spot. I hooked up on my third cast with the first fish of the day. The bite was on for the first hour we were on the water. We caught 12 Redfish the first hour. Most of the fish we caught today were smaller than yesterday, but Randy managed to hook and land this nice 10.5lbs Redfish.

I could only seem to hook lower slot fish today, but Randy managed to get four that were good fish. Ended up with 13 fish total, as the bite seemed to shut off after about 1-1/2 hours of fishing. Launch the boat at 11:00 and were back on the trailer at 2:00. All fish were released to fight again another day.

That brings the total for two days of fishing to 20 redfish with two being over 10lbs, caught in two feet of water. The bite is on, so if you want to get in on the action, give me a call. The winter special is still on, 2 anglers, half day, $200.00. That's a deal that you just can't beat.
Tight lines,
Capt. Brent
