Default Back From Topsail

Well folks, not alot to report from Surf City Pier. The wind howled all week, water stayed stirred up and hot, I had an Ulcer acting a fool (And I left my Meds at home) I came home a day earlier than usual because of that. No big fish from the end, I fished Wednesday, got there at 5:30 AM, and didn't catch a King Bait, until about 11:00.
We did see a couple of schools of Pogies Tuesday and Wednesday, but not close enough to get a net on them. I guess all the fresh water from the 3 1/2 inches of rain Monday, has ran a few out the inlets.
Did have one bright spot in the week, when the infamous Topsail Angler appeared on the planks Monday. Definately good to see you again Mike..........I GOTTA get out and catch some fish with you offshore. All the murky water is beginning to get me down a little.
