We had a awesome trip today. Took Hylan on some winter redfish hunting and the fish were there in huge schools. A 27" fish was brought in first and was released. A while longer Hylan hooked a nice red that you could tell was a bit larger. Finally got him in the boat and he went 10lbs on the boga and was 31" long. Stuck in a tag, snapped a few pics and he kicked of very strong. All fish were caught on jerk baits. We easily saw over 100 fish in a foot of water!
I will be out again tomorow and will have a chance to fish more of the tide stage.I have charters for the entire week (except Friday) thru saturday and will have a bunch of reports and pics.. Hopefully another 31 incher comes along! They are awesome in a foot of water.
