Norfolk VA Beach Area

I know that it is not NC but I have to go to the Norfolk area on business for a meeting on Monday and Tuesday. I am thinking about heading up this Sunday with a couple of rods to see what I can find.
Has anyone had any experience up there? Any advice on good spots?
