Default Oriental area 4/12/08

Fished the creeks at Oriental yesterday with my dad. We were planning to go to Hamilton for Stripers but the reports up there are not too good now that the dam gates are open. We chose Oriental because it was the only place I could think to fish out of the wind. We were rewarded with a couple of specks and a flounder. I saw a lot fish in the shallows including some large gar. In two feet of water, the temperature was 70. Lots of weed though. Biggest producer for trout was 1/4 inch red head with white gulp.
