Outer Banks fishing

The fishing on the Outer Banks for the past two weeks is terrible at best.The sound water temp is 35.6 and the ocean is 36.9. The wind is blowing 25-30mph making a 12-15ft. swell.I watched the USCG training yesterday by taking their 47ft.boat thru the inlet.They told me the inlet bar was breaking 12-16ft. across.It looked like a intro to the old TV program Hawaii Five-O.
Leave the boat at home & bring the surfboard.
