Beaufort Marsh 6/25 and 6/27

Managed to get out two of the last three days to fish my normal area between Morehead City and Beaufort. Any kayakers that were at the June Red X Meet/Greet fished this spot with me. Unfortunately that day only yielded two red drum.

I fished a few new areas back in the marsh this week and found yet another producing hole. Was throwing White Berkley Gulp! 3" Swimming Mullet on chartreuse, orange, or white jig heads. Either slow retrieving or bouncing off the bottom. The four drum measured in at 21", 19", 23 3/4", and 25 1/2". Looking forward to heading out again tommorow and a few days this upcoming week. Going to be showing a forum member (Big Dave) the area one of the days next week.
