Oak Island Kayak Fishing?

Does anyone have any experience fishing at Oak Island from a kayak? Inshore? Offshore? Launch areas?

Looks like my week at the beach after the Meet and Greet in Ft. Fisher will be at a condo on Caswell Beach on Oak Island, not too far from Yaupon pier.
