Default Bacteria

I went to Lake Wheeler near Raleigh this past weekend. Since I knew it would be hot I took my sit on top kayak. I figured getting wet would be a plus. When I arrived and went to pay to launch I was informed that bacteria levels in the lake were so high they were not letting sit on tops launch.. I informed the little girl at the desk that would have been nice information to have posted on there web site. It was not a total loss I was there to meet a group later in the day so I ended up fishing off one of the piers. I caught probably 25 to 30 brim and small crappie. Ranging from 3 to 5 inches long. LOL I had a pretty good time. By noon it was just to hot for me... I am looking forward to some cooler weather.
