Default Kayak Fishing Roanoke River Shad

Took the guys from the shop up to Roanoke this week and caught some shad. Had a great time earlier in the week as the boat traffic wasn't too crazy. We paddled down to Big Rock and caught some nice ones. We used some submerged rocks to protect us from some wakes. The water is still pretty low and I heard reports of some good prop damage. Went out again yesterday on my duck boat and can attest. Saw another guy fishing out of a 12' pelican.

Tight Lines,

Chuck
