Maiden Voyage - 4/2/06

Well, I don't have a name for it, but I bought a kayak and took it out this weekend. With assistance and coaching from CoachKinsey (who'da guessed), I explored the creek on the west side of Lake Crabtree in a 12' don't-run-me-over yellow Liquid Logic Manta Ray. The boat worked great -- kept me afloat the whole time!

Didn't take any tackle along -- the suggestion I'd read to get comfortable with the boat first, made a whole lot of sense.

I'll post pictures when I get a chance.
