Bass Pitch No Hitter at Falls Lake - 9.2.2007

Fished Ledge Rock area of Falls this morning from 8am-noon. Nothing. I saw lots of surface activity, possibly white perch or white bass and saw a NICE largemouth come sailing out of the water ~8:30am. I caught zero LM Bass, and couldn't even get the surface schools to cooperate. Oh well, beautiful morning on the Lake. Talked to a guy at the launch and he said he hadn't caught anything on Falls "in weeks". I take this to mean that the bass haven't shaken off the heat yet, and will be in a feeding frenzy in a week or two
