Cape Fear

Fished the Cape Fear river at Avents Ferry yesterday in a jon boat tournament. I found fish in the mouthes of the creeks, tons of them, but they were mostly shorts. I ended up the day with 38 bass, only 2 keepers though. All were caught on a firetiger bomber crankbait. The winner had 2 fish for 7.5 pounds, second had 1 fish for 7.3 pounds, caught on worms. It was a very wet, rainy day.
